The Beginner's Guide to Playing Minecraft

Did you know that Minecraft has generated over $400 million in 2021? Undoubtedly, Minecraft has taken the world by storm as it provides players with a fun and unique gameplay experience. But, playing Minecraft isn’t as easy as it may seem, especially with so many different Minecraft games available to play.

Are you a new gamer? If so, we invite you to stick around as we take a deep dive into the world of block building that is Minecraft. Moreover, you’ll become the best Minecraft player with this brief guide, so make sure you read until the end!

Start On Peaceful Mode

More often than not, players think they need to start playing Minecraft on the hardest settings. But, by doing this, they’ll only get frustrated since playing in hard mode can be a real challenge, especially for newer players. Fortunately, there are several gaming options in Minecraft that let the play start in an easier setting.

For example, if you’re still learning to game, you can start in peaceful mode (no mobs spawn, and your health regenerates), and once you get the hang of the game, you can ramp up the difficulty.

Set World Spawn

Nothing is worse than dying and re-spawning really far from where you died. That’s why you’ll want to set up Minecraft world spawn at a nearby location, preferably next to or at your main base.

But, of course, you’ll want to make sure that you don’t set the world spawn in an area where other mobs spawn since that may make it difficult to retrieve your equipment. Furthermore, your bed acts as a spawn as well, so make sure you go to sleep often and never move your bed around, or it’ll reset the spawn.

Start Mining as Soon as Possible

Undoubtedly, one of the first steps you should take while playing Minecraft is going on a mining expedition. And that’s because your priority should be farming iron ore, as that’ll allow you to craft iron-based gear, which will hold you off for a long time. Moreover, iron is essential to craft multiple items, so you can never have too much iron in your chest.

Stock up on Bread

You’ll notice (especially if you play on easy or hard mode) that you’ll need to eat food constantly to keep your heart full, which means you’ll need a steady food source. And one of the best (and easy) food sources is bread since it only requires three wheat. And growing wheat is quite simple as you’ll only need to break grass to obtain seeds.
